> JobWatch update adds ease and accountability to file viewing

20th October 2020 – BigChange is pleased to announce the latest version of JobWatch, version 5.13, is now available.

This update allows users to view files on a job at the push of a button and automatically log them as having been seen.

Previously, users who needed key files (for example health-and-safety forms, risk policies or site plans) to help complete a worksheet, would first need to manually find the correct file from the library, read it and mark it as read. This was time-consuming for users and lacked accountability.

Working with McPherson of Aberlour, a logistics company, BigChange has streamlined this process, allowing users to access necessary files at the push of one button inside the worksheet.

JobWatch will automatically log a date and time every time it’s viewed. This information is then added to the Job Card for clients to see.

The new feature can also be customised to load files specific to a job site, instead of the standard policy file. You can watch a full video explaining the new update here.

Blair Fraser, IT Project Manager at McPherson said: “We love the fact that we can configure how often a driver is prompted to review the documentation so that we don’t overload them. We have some drivers who visit the same site multiple times per shift so it would really impair the effectiveness of the solution if the driver had to continually read and sign for the same document on each visit.”

“All in all this is a tremendous new feature that will enable us to really help the drivers whilst on site by keeping them up to speed with changes to policies, and will hopefully result in fewer health and safety incidents.”

The update is now available for users of JobWatch on Android to download from the Play Store.
